We treat your data with the same discipline we bring to everything entrusted to us. This page explains the little we collect and how it is used.

What we collect
This is an informational site — no accounts, no sign-in. When you press Send on the contact form or the shipment brief, the form's data is sent to our servers and stored in our enquiry inbox: your name, your organisation if you give one, your email, your phone if you enter it, your message, and with them the page path you sent from and its language. Direct email remains available as an alternative at all times. All of it is used solely to reply to you and carry out your request.
Job applications
If you send a CV to the same address, we keep it and its attachments for up to twelve months so we can consider you when a suitable role opens. It is used for nothing else, is not shared outside the Group, and you may ask us to delete it at any time.
Cookies & session storage
We use no tracking cookies and serve no ads. The site uses browser session storage for one purpose only: remembering that the opening intro has played during your session so it doesn't repeat — it clears when you close the tab.
Hosting logs
As with any website, our hosting provider may record standard technical data (IP address, browser type, time of visit) for security and service operation, rotated per the provider's policies.
Sharing
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. To alert us the moment your enquiry arrives we use an email service provider, which relays the message to us on our behalf and uses your data for nothing else. Information is disclosed only where the law requires it.
Retention
An enquiry you send through the form is kept until your transaction is completed, and you may ask us to delete it at any time. Business correspondence is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for the period accounting and legal records require; CVs are kept for up to twelve months. Anything no longer needed is deleted.
Your rights
You may request a copy or deletion of any correspondence we hold about you at any time by writing to info@al-janabi.com or calling +964 790 149 4552 — we respond within a reasonable period.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq; the courts of Baghdad have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
Updates
We may update this policy as our practices change; the date above reflects the latest revision.
